I really should be asleep!

Ok, I know I JUST posted my thankful post for the 22nd and said that it was late and that my brain really isn't working because it's bedtime, but here I am... awake.... thinking... thinking... thinking... it's story time!!!!  Woohoo!

Funny moment of the day, which really almost wasn't funny, but was funny... ha!

We have this really nice dresser in our house that we use in the downstairs reception room for storage.  It holds all the extra duvet covers, duvets, sheets, pillows, blankets, towels, air mattresses etc. for when we have company.  It didn't really fit in anyone's room and it came with the house, so here it stays.  The funny thing about this piece of furniture... it's heavy!  And, BIG!. And, contains stuff in it!  And, is like a puzzle one GIANT, HEAVY puzzle, that is... Anyway, we were putting stuff away from the visitors we just had and noticed that the drawers weren't fitting together properly.  So, we thought, oh!  We should just rearrange the drawers so that they fit better and then they will actually slide properly.  Thinking this would only take an extra 5 minutes, we start pulling out the first drawer only to find that it's really.heavy.  Yes, it is!  Weights or not - still heavy!  We pull out the next one, then the next one, and then oh... uh oh.. why are there screws on the floor?  Oh no, there is the track with the wheels on it... oops!  What we thought was going to be quick turned into a much longer more involved project as we had to screw back in the wheel track thing.  Hah!  We started laughing because each time we attempted to put the drawers back in their place, something else went wonky.  We laughed the whole time!  Even when I got a tiny piece of metal stuck in my thumb {I got it out, praise the Lord!}.   After much time, we finally figured out the problem but we are still unclear as to why there is a huge gap in between 2 of the drawers and are hoping that it won't be a problem because they are opening and closing smoother than ever.  This totally reminded me of a dresser that Hubs had...  It was uniquely colored black and yellow... like a bumble bee.  When we got married, he warned me of how difficult is was to put the drawers in properly and I laughed thinking, what?!?  I found out the hard way that he was right!  I had many failed attempts at putting the 6 drawers back in the frame properly.  WOW!  This is way to difficult!  It really shouldn't be that hard!  In both cases, I was not about to let a dresser outsmart me!  no way!  I conquered both, for now anyway.

{this is what happens when it's way past my bedtime.... going to sleep now!!}

I want to leave you with these verses to ponder:

Isaiah 55:8-9

For My thoughts [are] not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD.
"For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.
